The Solution

nimbl devised a multi-channel digital solution which included Search Engine Optimisation, Google Search Ads, Display Network Advertising and Remarketing. As a new entity with zero brand recognition or awareness, nimbl was able to quickly drive new qualified prospects to the site, and increase the volume of quotes significantly.

Our work culminated in a first page ranking for “pet insurance” amongst some of the industry’s heavy-hitters like Medibank, RSPCA, AAMI, iSelect, PetPlan and Bow Wow Meow.

To boost awareness of the start-up brand, nimbl managed highly-targeted Display Network Ads which included advertising on reputable pet websites such as and, reaching prospective pet owners who’d be interested in the exclusive ‘Puppy Cover’ offer. This advertising also extended to comparison sites such as to reach hot prospects.

nimbl were also consulted on various Conversion Rate Optimisation initiatives, including an overhaul of the quoting system. Developed by one of our design partners, the new process saw improved conversion of a visitor receiving a quote – whilst the prospects details were collected to enable further sales opportunities.

To support ongoing traffic growth, nimbl was also responsible for a link acquisition strategy which included writing content for influential veterinary websites, as well as deploying a comprehensive breed guide to attract visitors from a variety of breed-related queries.
